2022 WCQ: CAF official passes on following charge at Nigeria-Ghana game

An authority of the Confederation of African Football has passed on, following the aggravations that followed the outcome of the Nigeria – Ghana FIFA World Cup qualifier in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Dr Joseph Kabungo, a Zambian clinical specialist, is accounted for that have blacked out after he was beaten and stepped on as fans attempted to advance out of the arena because of the charge.
He was CAF’s assigned Doping Officer for the game among Ghana and Nigeria.

In a post on Twitter by British-Nigerian writer Osasu Obayiuwana, his passing was affirmed after he was raced to the clinic.
Ghanaian writer, Collins Atta Poku, who watched the entire episode unfurl, tweeted that Dr. Kabungo’s disaster was occassioned by the roudy swarm who beat and stepped on him amidst the scuffle.
