ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK AIMS TO RETAIN THE FA CUP TROPHY
Accra Hearts Of Oak aims to win this season’s edition of MTN FA cup to seal a successful journey.
The club won this competition last season and they are hoping to make it back to back successes in the competition this season.
Accra Hearts of Oak, the defending champions will play Dreams FC in the first semi-final game of this year’s edition on Saturday afternoon.
The first semi final game will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium and it will be showcased live on StarTimes Adepa TV channel worldwide.
And ahead of the tie, the Phobians are hopeful of winning this encounter to make it to the final of the competition against a Dreams FC side they not long ago defeated 3-1 in Accra in a the Ghana league game.
Club spokesperson, Kwame Opare Addo told the local media in Accra that they will win tomorrow’s game to book a place in the grand finale against the winner of the other semi-final encounter between Bechem United and Aduana FC.
That fixture will be played at the Golden City Park, Berekum on Sunday in what promises to be a closely fought affair.
Hearts of Oak will welcome either side in the final but first, they will have to take care of Dreams FC on Saturday.
And, this according to their spokesperson is what they will be going for as they aim to extend their record win in this competition.
Dreams FC he added, will not survive the Hearts of Oak machinery on Saturday afternoon as they seek to take a step closer to winning this season’s MTN FA Cup competition.
