AFCON 2021: Myself,Tetteh and Jordan are here to score goals for the Black Stars’ – Ghana striker Boakye Yiadom

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom believe that the Black Stars will score goals at the Africa Cup of Nations ahead of their second game against Gabon.

The multiple times African Champions Ghana are yet to score a goal at the competition after their first defeat to Morocco.

However, the Beitar Jerusalem striker says himself, Jordan Ayew and Benjamin Tetteh are up for the assignment.

“I think there are a ton of players in front. Now and again in football, things don’t go your way sometimes,” he said in the pre-match conference for the Gabon game.

“We have Jordan, Benjamin and I and as I said, the first game went poorly. We were unable to utilize the opportunities we had however I think against Gabon, something good may come out and I think we will score.

“As a striker I accept whenever the first chance is missed, you will want to focus on the additional opportunity and we are here to score a ton of goals and I believe we will dominate the match.
