The Ghana Black Stars Skipper Andre Ayew has uncovered that he talked with Asamoah Gyan prior to choosing to proceed with his profession in Asia by getting paperwork done for Qatari side Al-Sadd.
Subsequent to leaving Swansea City in the Championship towards the end of last season, Ayew joined Al-Sadd on a free transfer and turned into a vital hit in Qatar.
With 15 goals and one assist in 25 games, Ayew has played a key part in the club’s Qatar Stars League triumph. Before that, he assisted the club lifting the Amir Cup.

Gyan played for Al Ain and was a critical figure in the Asian country during his time there.
“Asamoah Gyan was the one who gave a fair idea of how uneasy playing football in Qatar was, we could all see that his time at Al Ain was the point at which he scored most goals for the Black Stars,” he told Joy Sports.
“He went there and greatly affects the entire of the Asia.
Seeing what most people have done I got to realize there was an open door there and I needed to take it and but as its stands now things are working out in a good way,” he added.
