Bechem United’s Europe preseason tour cancelled as club director issue statement
Prior to the start of the new 2022/2023 BetPawa Ghana Premier League season, Bechem United has ended its preseason tour in Europe.

The 2021/22 MTN FA Cup finalists acknowledged plans to conduct their preseason workouts abroad, however club authorities have canceled the original program.
The Hunters were scheduled to leave Ghana for their tour of France on July 12, 2022, in order to get ready for their upcoming campaign.

The team, however, decided to cancel the trip in order to concentrate primarily on preseason training here in Ghana for the upcoming season.
Club Communication Director Emmanuel Gyasi explained the cancellation in an interview with Kumasi-based Radio Luv FM. He stated:
“Unfortunately, we are unable to do our initial planned pre-season tour owing to some circumstances beyond our control.
we cannot have our initial planned pre-season tour in Europe.
“We’ve kept that on hold and have rescheduled it for another summer. We will have our pre-season here in Ghana.
“At the moment, the team is currently in Accra that’s where we are having our pre-season, just like we did last season.
“We are looking forward to spending at least four weeks here in Accra and finally complete our preparations in Bechem and prepare fully for the 2022/23 season,” He concluded.
Bechem United will lockhorns with Accra Great Olympics in their opener of the 2022/2023 BetPawa Ghana Premier League campaign away at the famous Accra Sports Stadium.
