In this season, Accra Hearts of Oak have struggled mightily. This season, the team’s fortunes are being impacted by a variety of factors, both on and off the field. They won’t be able to retain their championship this year.
The FA Cup is their only realistic hope of winning a trophy this season. It doesn’t matter how hard they try. It’s easy to see why the Phobians wish they were doing what their rival Asante Kotoko is doing right now when comparing the two teams.

In comparison to Hearts of Oak’s ‘phobia4life’ initiative, their membership drive project, dubbed ‘Fabu Census,’ is producing impressive results. Apparently, the Hearts management has a problem that they aren’t willing to discuss openly. There’s a noticeable difference between this season’s Phobians and those from season before.
Managing player contracts is another issue that has a history of bringing the Phobians to their knees. If they don’t know what to do, I don’t know. Key players are constantly being traded away for nothing. Benjamin Afutu and others have been killed. Throughout the years, this has hampered their progress and growth. The club’s management must take action now to prevent it from being completely wiped out by these problems.
