The hunt for the new Black Stars coach still continues and this have sparked a ‘war’ between the Government and the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The Government’s favourite, Chris Hughton, is in Ghana and already held some crucial meetings with the father of Callum Hudson-Odoi for him to commit to the Black Stars.

Meanwhile, the President of the GFA Kurt Okraku has led a delegation to Germany to meet Borussia Dortmund assistant coach Otto Addo, who was one of the assistants of Milovan Rajevac, over the vacant job.

Also a three-member GFA delegation have arrived in Germany to meet Otto Addo. One former player, the GFA Tech Director and FA chief.

It is the Government that pays the salary of the head coach of the Black Stars but Fifa has zero tolerance for government interference in the affairs of football.

Before Milovan Rajevac was sacked, the Ministry of Youth and Sports had held a meeting with the GFA and ordered it to review the “work and capacity” of the Serbian before he was sacked few days later.

On Monday morning, a GFA Executive Council Member Tony Aubynn told Angel FM Otto Addo is the best person for the job.

“Otoo Addo is the best choice now because he was the assistant for Milo and he has trained with boys and they respect him so much.

“He’s the right man for the job now, considering the fact that he’s also a former player.”
