Asante Kotoko forward, Franck Etouga Mbella has missed out on Cameroon’s final squad who will be pitching camp very soon to prepare for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which commences early next month.

Earlier this month, the elite gunman was included to the Indomitable Lions 35 provisional man squad for the big matches coming up following his stellar display in Kumasi.

However, head coach Rigobert Song when trimming down his squad to the final 30, has left out Frank Etouga from the final eight strikers he selected including skipper Vincent Aboubakar, Choupo Moutin and inform Karl Toko Ekambi.

Mbella, 20, who has previously played for their under 20 side, has been awesome since joining Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko prior to the start of the season and is currently leading the top scoring chat with 19 goals.

The five time African champions in the qualifiers are placed in Group C alongside Kenya, Namibia and Burundi.
