Ex-president of Burkina Faso, Blaise Compaoré, has been sentenced to life imprisonment, together his aides Gilbert Diendéré and Kafando Hyacinthe, for the murder of first president Thomas Sankara, who was killed at 33 in the 1987 military coup they led against him.
