Callum-Hudson Odoi eligible to switch nationality in November; likely to play for Ghana at the 2022 World Cup

Ghana’s drawn out target Callum Hudson-Odoi is weighing up worldwide interest from the West African country in the wake of being pursued for a potential national switch.

Hudson-Odoi, who was brought into the world to Ghanaian guardians in London can formally featured for Ghana at senior level from November 17, 2022 per the FIFA rules, jusy seven days away from the Black Stars 2022 FIFA World Cup opening fixture against Portugal.

Notwithstanding having addressed England and having acquired each of the three covers in cutthroat matches, Hudson-Odoi stays qualified to switch allegiance.

That comes after a FIFA rule changed in September 2020 permitted players without less than three matches to change, assuming they had procured those appearances before their 21st birthday.

Hudson-Odoi was in Ghana for occasions not many months ago, prior to where he held a gathering with the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House- who tried hard to convince the Chelsea star to naturalize and play for the Black Stars.
