The Ghanaian English-born winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has not hide his joy after staying at Chelsea despite strong interest from other clubs.
The winger had a game time under the watch of Coach Thomas Tuchel as Palmeiras was defeated by Chelsea to win the Club World Cup on Saturday.
Odoi, who has been a prime target for the Black Stars of Ghana, has open up about his stay at Chelsea which has earned him more trophies.
Hudson-Odoi after winning with Chelsea stated “Big trophies like this are games you want to be involved in with a club like this,”.
‘Big games, big trophies, you want to win as much as possible with a club like this. Our aim is always to win games and win as many as possible.
“When we get the opportunity we keep pushing.
“If I went out in the summer I wouldn’t get opportunities to play like this and enjoy the games and win trophies. So I’m really delighted that I stayed and obviously I got the opportunity to play.”
Hudson-Odoi has been a long time target for the likes of Bayern Munich and Dortmund after struggling to earn a starting spot earlier this season.
