On Saturday evening, Ghanaian attacker Samuel Obeng Gyabaa scored his seventh league goal for Real Oviedo in their rout of CD Mirandes.
The Ghanaian forward played more than an hour of football for his team before being replaced with 24 minutes remaining in the game.
In the 14th minute, his left-footed shot from the right side of the box found the bottom left corner, giving the home team a 1-0 lead at the Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere.
Forward Borja Baston converted a penalty kick 12 minutes after the break to double the hosts’ lead.
With only three minutes on the pitch, Jonathan Montiel, who replaced Sangalli in the 74th minute, scored Oviedo’s third goal. At the end of the game, Oviedo had won 3-0.
In 30 games this season in the Spanish La Liga 2, the 24-year-old former Ghana U23 striker has seven goals and one assist.
