Ex-Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo remanded for two for humiliating a police officer

The former Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has been remanded for quite a long time by an Accra court in the wake of being denied bail.

The 30-year-old was accounted for to have assaulted a cop who was on the job in the wake of watching Ghana Premier League game between Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars on Sunday.

Fiamenyo was subsequently captured by the police after the report about his assault circulated around the web at the arena.

At the Adjabeng District Court on Monday morning, Fiamenyo was accused of attack on security official and in spite of the fact that he protected himself, the adjudicator demanded that he ought to be remanded and return in court fourteen days time.
