Former GFA president Kwasi Nyantakyi urges the GFA to keep an eye on local base players
The broadly held view by numerous football-cherishing fans that high ranking representatives of the Ghana Football Association, GFA, impact and now and again force players on Coaches of the Black Stars is supposed to be an ordinary peculiarity.

This is as indicated by previous President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi who has confessed to having some degree of command over player determination into the different public football crews during his experience as President
Spanish-conceived Ghanaian Brothers Inaki, Nico Williams to play for Black Stars
Such a disclosure comes as a shock as the FA on many events have needed to expose such claims in the flow and past organizations particularly during his residency as President.

Specialist on the GTV sports+ show, Saving Our Passion.
Talking on GTVSports+ Saving Our Passion show, he said, “nothing bad can really be said about me either as FA President or a standard Ghanaian recommending to the Coach that proceed to take a gander at this player and choose yourself whether he merits coming into the group. I have done it a couple of times”.
Mr. Nyantakyi refered to the model where he recommended Sadat Bukari who played for Hearts of Lions to Coach David Duncan when he dealt with the U17 National group.
The Coach on his own surveyed the player and picked him for the group, he noted.
Mentor Duncan later came to me and said thank you kindly, you got me my number 10 and that player was the hitting pair with Opoku Agyeman for the U17 group.
He portrayed another case where previous Black Stars Coach C.K Akunnor while in his playing days (in Denmark) likewise suggested a player, Francis Diko who was additionally playing in Denmark, saying that checks out.
The previous FA President anyway opposed manhandling such honors, as has been the situation with some Management Committee Members during his residency.
However, there is everything off-base for a situation in which the executives Committee individuals chose to apportion spaces to themselves, that every Committee part was to carry two players to the camp. The disarray broke out when the Coach went to prepare players and tracked down new faces on the field of play, so he deserted the preparation and went directly to the FA to report it.
The silliness in that choice is that you might wind up having just goalkeepers from the Management Committee Members or every one of them might be left full backs” he made sense of while grinning.
He said the Coach had the last say in player determinations and would assume complete ownership for their prosperity or disappointment when remembered for the group.
