
GFA Spoke’s Person Henry Asante Twum openly revealed what Salisu Mohammed said when he was invited for Nigeria’s clash

The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum, has confirmed that Salisu Mohammed rejected the call-up to represent Ghana in the playoffs for the World Cup against Nigeria.
The Black Stars of Ghana finally made it through, securing a World Cup place at Mundial after a draw game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Abuja in a 1- 1 second leg.
The hot cake Southampton defender, Salisu, has been reportedly declining the invitation to play for the Black Stars in the past.

Speaking on Citi TV, the GFA spokesperson Henry Asante Twum confirmed that Salisu turned down the call-up to represent Ghana again against Nigeria for the world cup in Qatar later this year.
“We’ve tried our best to get him about four or five times. C.K Akunnor tried, he wasn’t successful, Milovan tried but he wasn’t successful and Otto Addo tried and he still thinks he needs some time,” he revealed.
