France will serve as host for the upcoming friendly encounter between Ghana and Brazil, which will take place later this month.
Both football associations announced the friendly match back in August, and at the time, reports suggested that it would take place in London. However, it has now been confirmed that the match will be played in Le Havre.
The match against Brazil is scheduled to take place on September 23, and four days later, on September 27, Ghana will play a friendly match against Nicaragua, who is currently ranked 139th.
Both matches are a part of Ghana’s preparations for the forthcoming World Cup in Qatar in November 2022.
Head Coach Otto Addo will use the matches to figure out how ready the team is for the competition, which is set to start on November 20, 2022.
In addition to the two matches that are scheduled to take place during the international window in September, the Black Stars are scheduled to play Switzerland in Abu Dhabi on November 17, 2022, in order to finish things up before our first group encounter in Qatar.
Group H of the World Cup features Ghana, who will face off against Portugal on November 24, South Korea on November 28, and Uruguay on December 2.
