
GPL WEEK 22 REPORT: Champions Hearts of Oak held in Berekum, Legon Cities nearly upset Aduana Stars, AshantiGold marmalize RTU and more
The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League entered into midweek action today with some interesting fixtures recorded in the round 22.

Out of the six matches played today, there were only two home wins, four draws with no any away win.
Defending champions, Hearts of Oak were really handed a very tough task but still managed to fight a point after holding Berekum Chelsea to a goalless drawn game at the Golden City Park.
AshantiGold SC returned to winning ways with a stellar display to thump on Real Tamale United by an emphatic 4-0 at the Len Clay Stadium.
Medeama SC versus King Faisal initially kicked off but game got abondoned due to a heavy downpour of rain in Tarkwa in the mid-afternoon with the game rescheduled to tomorrow morning.
Second-placed Bechem United and Aduana Stars failed to grind maximum points to close down on leaders Kotoko after sharing spoils with Dreams FC and Legon Cities respectively earlier today.
Great Olympics also gave away a two goal lead to draw 2-2 with West African Football Academy in Accra.
