GPL WEEK 26 REVIEW: Hearts of Oak thump on Lions, King Faisal end long losing streak, Kotoko record second straight defeat and others
The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League match-week 26 were honoured over the weekend with some astonishing results, produced at some of the venues.

As usual, your trusted hub, Blessonemps.com brings to you a comprehensive report of some notable games and the full results from all the centres.
Champions Hearts of Oak kicked off the round last Friday with a convincing 0-3 victory over regional rivals Accra Lions thanks to a brace from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh coupled with a goal from Isaac Agyenim Boateng. The third time the ‘Phobians’ are beating them this season.

The round continued on Saturday, when AshantiGold SC shocked Great Olympics in the capital with a narrow 1-0 triumph to deepen their woes.
Now on Sunday, believe it or not, league leaders Asante Kotoko were marmalized by Legon Cities FC at the Baba Yara Stadium by 1-3- marking their second straight defeat for the first time this season.

At the Golden City Park, Berekum Chelsea returned to winning ways, having relied on Kevin Obeng’s lone goal to edge out Aduana Stars, who are now winless in their last five matches in the league.
King Faisal FC also finally halted their appaling eight game losing streak after holding Dreams to a pulsating 1-1 stalemate earlier today in Dawu.
