Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu stated that his strikers lacked the cutting edge upfront, which is why they couldn’t convert the chances that came their way in their 0-0 draw with Bechem United.
The champions beat the Hunters last Saturday at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in matchweek 28 thanks to goalkeeper Iddrisu Abdulai’s heroics.
Speaking after the game, the ex-Medeama coach admitted that his players played well but weren’t clinical upfront, but he is confident that they will finish the season in a better position. He stated;
“We lacked scoring prowess.” I discussed it with my players, and I believe it will gradually work in the future.”
