
Hearts of Oak pen down an emotional good bye massage to Sulley Muntari
Midway through the previous campaign, Muntari returned to Ghana’s top division and signed a six-month contract with Hearts of Oak.

With a 2-1 victory over Bechem United, the team won the FA Cup with the assistance of the former AC Milan star.The former Black Stars midfielder appeared in 14 games for Hearts of Oak across all competitions, with one goal and three assists.
According to media sources, the Porcupine Warriors have signed a deal with the midfielder after rejecting a new Hearts of Oak contract. Muntari’s goal this season is to compete in the CAF Champions League for the first time, and Asante Kotoko is the only team to do it.

Asante Kotoko is the only participant from Ghana in the 2022–23 CAF Champions Leaguethey have been paired with RC Kadiogo of Burkina Faso in the first preliminary round of the competition scheduled to commence in September.
Muntari was a member of the Black Stars squad that played in 2006, 2010, and 2014 World Cup in Germany, South Africa, and Brazil respectively
