HOT NEWS: University of Ghana owes GH¢33m in power debts, ECG threatens to cut supply.

In a bid to recuperate part of its liabilities, ECGhas recorded about 29 foundations (both private and public) for disengagement following a three-day working final proposal. Prominent organizations like UPSA, Ghana Water Company, and other significant establishments, generally dislike the Electricity Company of Ghana.





For University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), a comparable destiny last week when power was sliced to its organization square and theater over a GH1.6 million obligation.

A detachment notice was shipped off the University of Ghana, alerted them that any further defer will leave the power merchant with no choice than to dive the college into haziness.



The obligation which is ordered into two with various metering numbers shows that, the college owes GH¢10, 926,147.53 and GH¢22, 102,459.04 on the two meters.

ECG has forcefully announced battle on vigorously rebellious account holders who have over the period utilized power without plan of action to amassed obligations.

ECG has forewarned its clients to reclaim their obligation to stay away from any humiliation.
