I have enough experience to be named AshantiGold’s head coach – Thomas Duah

AshantiGold SC caretaker, Thomas Duah has expressed his readiness to be named the club’s head coach as the search for a new substantive gaffer continues.

The 43 year old has been with the Miners for sometime now as their assistant coach and always steps in when a coach is fired with the recent victim being Henry Haeusler who got sacked in less than a month.

Thomas Duah has been in charge of their last two league games where they lost to Karela in Anyinase after giving away a goal lead but redeemed themselves with a resounding 2-0 triumph over King Faisal last week in Obuasi.

When asked on his readiness to handle the ‘Aboa Kese3’ lads, he stated with so much confidence that he is ever ready and has the experience to do that. He said;

“Everything is gradual. I have been Coaching for long and of intelligent you I can’t head Ashanti Gold, then I’m wrong because of you only five coaches all the rest came after me in the premier league.

“I think I can do it. Why not? I can do it.”

AshantiGold SC travels to the capital this weekend, to face champions Hearts of Oak in match-week 21 of the Ghana Premier League
