Black Stars caretaker coach, Otto Addo has been closely monitoring Spezia red hot forward Emmanuel Gyasi following his impressive performance in the Italian Serie A, an exclusive report by our sister blog GHANASoccernet.com earlier today.

Gyasi, who started and finished Spezia’s game against Venezia as the center forward, scored the winning goal as the Eagles secured all three points over the weekend.

The attacker has scored five goals in 30 appearances made this season, and he is the only Ghanaian with the most minutes in the Italian topflight.

The Black Stars of Ghana qualified for the global showpiece after beating Nigeria in a two-legged playoff last week.

Ghana have been drawn in Group H and will face European heavyweights Portugal, 2010 World Cup nemesis Uruguay and Asian giants South Korea.
