After recuperating from his injuries, Ibrahim Salifu will rejoin the Hearts of Oak.
The Phobian Club won the domestic treble in the 2020-21 season, with the help of the former Techiman Eleven Wonders player.
However, Salifu’s consistent ailments made it difficult for him to maintain his form during the 2021/22 season.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been out for nearly three months after suffering an injury on May 30, 2022, against Karela United at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
The good news for the “Phobians” this time is that the metal in his foot has been removed, therefore he will be back in action very soon in spite of the lengthy rehabilitation process he has been undergoing.
It’s expected that the dynamic playmaker will soon join the rest of his colleagues as they continue their preseason for the 2022/23 football season.
In the first game of the 2022–23 Ghana Premier League season, Hearts of Oak will travel to take on Aduana Stars.
