LEAKED:Ghana head coach Otto Addo reportedly submit a 40 man squad to GFA featuring big names…
Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, is said to have named a 40-person provisional squad list for upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers and friendly games.

Ghana will start qualifying for the 2023 AFCON next month. Their first two games will be against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.
Local media say that Otto Addo will name a 40-person provisional squad, which will then be cut down to 35 for qualifiers and friendly matches.
The rumored squad list has a lot of new names and faces, including Ghana’s “rebel” Salisu Mohammed, who has turned down several calls ups.

On the list are Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey, Bernard Mensah, Alfred Duncan, and a number of Ghanaian players who were born outside of Ghana.
Ghana will play Madagascar on June 1, 2022, at the Cape Coast Stadium. Four days later, on June 5, they will play the Central African Republic.
Ghana is in Group E, along with Angola, Madagascar, and the Central African Republic, for the qualifiers.
In September 2022, the four-time AFCON winners will play their last game of the first round of qualifiers against Angola.
Before the World Cup, Ghana will play two international friendlies against Japan and Chile in addition to the qualifiers in June.
