Mahama Has Done A Lot For The Movie Industry And Deserves To Be Voted Back Into Power – Christiana Awuni Reveals

Christiana Awuni has declared her intention to support John Mahama in the next elections in Ghana.
The well-known Kumawood actress made the announcement during an interview with DJ Sly on Ark FM in Sunyani. She will support Mr. Mahama in the Ghanaian elections in 2024.

When asked why she would support the NDC flag bearer, Madam Awuni responded that the NPP administration of Nana Akufo-Addo had failed the entertainment industry.

She remembered how several producers in the Ashanti Region coerced them into supporting Nana Addo and the NPP during the 2016 elections on the pretext that, should they win, they would help restructure the film sector.

The actress lamented that the promise had not been fulfilled.

She does, however, think that former president John Mahama will make the necessary efforts to assist filmmakers because he has met them and has shown a willingness to assist them.

Additionally, Christiana Awuni was persuaded by Mr. Mahama’s fondness of Ghanaian films and his habit of watching them while traveling.
