Menzgold Ghana Ltd releases list of customers eligible for payment;

After vetting and validation of documents, Menzgold Ghana Limited has released a list of customers who are eligible to receive payments.

According to a statement released by Menzgold Ghana Limited dated December 19, 2021, a total of 181 customers have been validated to receive payment of their investment from the defunct gold dealership firm.

Explaining the mode of payment, the statement indicated the company wrote to the Ghana Police Service to seek access to a designated office facility in addition to security presence in order to commence payment physical cash payment.

The police in a response denied the request citing security and COVID-19 reasons and therefore recommendation digital platform payments.

“With due regards to the above basis, respect for authority and as law abiding patriotic citizens, our company shall consequently shall proceed to achieve the same payments objective by resorting to direct bank deposits, as we are happily commence our final payments phase spanning from 20th  December, 2021 to 30th June 2022,” parts of the statement read.
