Hearts of Oak great Mohammed Polo believes Samuel Boadu is ineptitude to lead the team to Africa.
The Phobians defeated Bechem United 2-1 to win the FA Cup, and they will now play in the Confederations Cup.
The Phobians were unable to advance above the group stages in both the Confederations Cup and the Caf Champions League last year.
The story has not changed in the last ten years as they have battled to regain their former greatness.
Despite Samuel Boadu’s successful tenure with the team, Polo maintains that the club must hire a replacement who has a track record of success before the start of the preliminary rounds.
Mohammed Polo said to Kumasi-based Otec FM, “I wish Hearts of Oak got a coach with a track record and who can give some value to the club moving into Africa because I still don’t see why the squad couldn’t compete with these guys.
Boadu won the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup the previous season but fell short of the top four this time around.
