Mohammed Salisu will definitely play for Ghana – Otto Addo assures

Black Stars gaffer, Otto Addo says a period will come that Salisu Mohammed will agree to play for the Ghana National team, in the wake of holding chats with the Southampton defender some months ago.

Salisu, 22, has dismissed Blacks Stars call-ups after so many attempts, ranging from the reign of CK Akonnor, Milovan Rajevac and Otto Addo

Ghana got their World Cup capability after holding rivals, Nigeria in Abuja last Tuesday to book their place at the mundial after the principal leg had finished goalless in Kumasi.

Despite failing to lure Salisu for the Black Stars, the Borussia Dortmund trainer is still hopeful and believe he will definitely agree to play for the national team in some time to come. He said;

“There are alot of reasons and I understand the frustrations. And I really appreciate for him taking time for me to explain his thoughts to me,” Addo admitted on GHOne TV.

“And I hope a time will come, and it will come, he wants to play for Ghana.”
