Hisense pays Kotoko and Kotoko old players Association GH₵4000 each for beating Dreams
Asante Kotoko sponsors Hisense has paid the club GH₵4000 for beating Dreams FC on matchday one of the Ghana Premier League.
The club added a condition for their contract agreement that Hisense would pay the club GH₵4000 for each match they win.
At first, the Hisense was paying players that score the winning goal against Kotoko, however the fans were not content with the arrangement. The two parties changed the arrangement and chose to give the cash to the club’s old players after new agreement was considered.
Because of the progressions in the agreement, Asante Kotoko old players will get GH₵4000 while GH₵2000 will been given to some fortunate fans who were at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium during their game against Dreams FC.
The fans were told to write their phone numbers on their tickets and put it in a bowl. A ticket was randomly chosen and the individual whose number is written on the selected ticket gets a piece of the cash.
With their massive win against Bechem United, the club, the fans and the club’s old players association will be paid once more.
The arrangement will proceed all through the season.
