PRE-MATCH: Gideon Mensah and Otto Addo confident of Black Stars qualification tonight
Black Stars left back, Gideon Mensah and head coach, Otto Addo all sound really confident of securing a good results against Nigeria tonight and subsequently seek qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup today.

The principal leg ended with none of the sides finding the back of the net leaving a goalless drawn game at the Baba Yara Stadium last Friday.
Speaking in the pre-match press conference, the Bordeaux defender has disclosed they have gathered some fighting spirit and sees Ghana securing nothing but qualification tonight. He said;
“We had a fighting spirit in the first leg in Kumasi and the game ended goalless, but we have won nothing, so, now we have to give more than we did in Kumasi and I’m sure we’re going to qualify.”
Also, Otto Addo stated the Black Stars will offer all they could to grind a positive results today. The Borussia Dortmund trainer said;
“In the first leg, we had some chances and we had some situations, where the last passes weren’t connecting; we have improved on that, you will see. I don’t think we are better than Nigeria and I don’t also think Nigeria are better than us. It was an equal game and the second leg will also be equal.”
“All I know is that if we score one goal, it will hurt them more. We had some good performances, we had more ball possession and played well. Surely, we must improve and not allow Nigeria to get chances. In Ghana, they had some clear cut chances, so we had to cut them.”
The game comes up this evening at 5:00pm Ghana time at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
