Reports: Razak Abalora of Asante Kotoko on the verge of joining Europa League side FC Sherriff

Moldovan giants FC Sheriff are on the verge of completing a deal to sign goalkeeper Razak Abalora from Asante Kotoko as per latest intelligence gathered by our sister blog footyforumgh

Agreement between both parties is reportedly to be complete with Abalora set to leave Ghana in the coming days for the mandatory medicals.

He is expected to pen four-year deal after passing his medicals.

Regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the local scene, the WAFA academy graduate was splendid for the Porcupine Warriors since joining them in 2020.

In 36 appearances for Kotoko, the 25-year old has kept 22 clean sheets conceding 24 goals in the process.

He will be teaming up with compatriot Edmund Addo who is currently at the Black Stars camp for the AFCON2021 campaign.

FC Sherriff dropped to the Europa League after finishing third in the Champions League in a group with Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Shakter Donetsk.
