Over the weekend in Nsuatre, there was another case of hooliganism in the National Division One League.
The game between Baffour Awuah Soccer Acadeny and Tamale City took place in the town. Both teams were trying to get three points so they could have a strong finish to the 2021/22 football season, which is still going on.
At the end of 90 minutes of hard-fought play, the score was 1-1, and both teams were happy with a point.
While the Tamale City team was going back to Tamale, some rough fans of the home team, with help from Nsuatreman, attacked the team bus.
Most of the Tamale City players were hurt in some way by the attack, while the bus driver tried to avoid stones and other things that were being thrown at the team.
Unfortunately, the head coach of Tamil City was hurt badly and was bleeding a lot, which was scary. From what we’ve heard, he’s been hospitalized and is in very bad shape.
