The players of Real Tamale United have taken a stand by refusing to attend their training sessions ahead of their final Ghana Premier League match against King Faisal. They are protesting against unpaid salaries from last season, hoping to urge the club’s management to settle the payment.

For the past three days, the players have boycotted training, and they have even threatened to skip the crucial match on Sunday. This situation has raised concerns among the authorities, as they are unsure if the players will show up for the game.

Sey Mubarak, the club’s spokesperson, acknowledged the disruption caused by the players’ boycott but expressed some optimism, saying, “Our preparations have been slightly affected due to the players’ decision. However, there is still some determination within the team.” Despite meeting with the CEO and other notable individuals, the players have continued their demonstration.

“We were hoping they would join training today after the meeting with the CEO and the supporters’ executives, but they did not show up this morning,” Mubarak explained. “This has made us a bit worried about the match against King Faisal. So, it’s difficult for me to say whether we will beat them or not.”
