
Thomas Partey optimistic Ghana will eliminate Nigeria in Abuja to book ticket to Qatar
Black Stars deputy captain, Thomas Teye Partey has stated with so much confidence that, they will tie down a pass to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the return leg against the Super Eagles in Abuja.

Ghana played out to a pulsating stalemate with their West African neighbours, Nigeria at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the principal leg tie of the 2022 FIFA World Cup last end of season games.
Partey communicated his stressed over the Black Stars inability to record a triumph over Augustine Eguavoen’s side in Kumasi after a glimmering execution from the four-time African bosses. He said;
“We know we should have won this game against Nigeria but a draw is not bad. However, I know that our fans are disappointed in us as we had promised them victory,” Partey said after the game.
“Nevertheless, it isn’t over until it is over and we promise all Ghanaians that we will go for victory in Abuja come Tuesday.”
The return leg comes up on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja. Winner will advance to the World Cup in Qatar later this year
