Togbe Afede XIV, gives new update on the Pobiman Academy Project

The ongoing Pobiman Academy project, according to Togbe Afede XIV, board chairman and primary stakeholder of Accra Hearts of Oak, will be finished by the middle of the year.

Accra Hearts of Oak is on track to construct a top-notch, cutting-edge athletic complex that will contain the junior team, senior team, practice fields, health department, and gymnasium, among other amenities.

In cooperation with CUBE Ltd., Turkish Construction Company PrefabEx Ltd. began the project’s second phase in December of last year.

Local construction company K.A Estates Company Limited began the project’s first phase, which was finished in three months.

This was stated by Togbe Afede XIV on Monday in Accra at the introduction of new coach Samuel Boadu.

“A lot of you are aware of what is going on at Pobiman, which we expect to be completed by the middle of this year,” he said. “It will be a place where we will be producing top talents not only for Hearts but for the nation,” he concluded. Pobiman Academy project will have many football pitches, a training complex ,medical department, gymnasium, laundry, swimming Pool, kitchen and dining hall among others when completed.
