Accra Hearts of Oak have filed a protest against referee Joseph Kennedy Padi to the Ghana Football Association for poor performance and demand for immediate investigations

The ‘Phobians’ suffered a very painful defeat to their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko over the weekend at the Baba Yara Stadium in match-week 24 of the Ghana Premier League.

Cameroonian striker, Frank Etouga Mbella notched his 16th goal of the campaign after getting the only difference between the two sides by scoring from the spot.

The penalty was awarded after Fabio Gama was penalized in the box by Abdul Aziz Nurudeen- an incident which many sees as too soft to warrant a spot-kick.

The champions just this morning, have released a statement confirming their protest against the center man to the review panel of the GFA seeking for a second look at the penalty incident and come out with a quick decision.
