Turkish side Yeni Malatyspor are looking to offload Ghana’s striker Benjamin Tetteh to free up their wage bill.
Per a reports in Turkey, the club has trip into debts and are in need of money to save their season as relegation looms.
Media houses have also reported that club Chairman Adil Gevrek called the Metropolitan Mayor Selahattin Gürkan for a loan of 12 million.
The Major allegedly said if the money wanted wasn’t readily available they would have to offload their star players Benjamin Tetteh and Mustafa Eskihellaç to raise money
Yeni Malatyaspor are stumbling this season and are presently last on the league table with 16 points after week 22.
Benjamin Tetteh has find the back of the net with six goals in 22 games for the SuperLig side this season.
He was part of Ghana’s team at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations competition.
The former Sparta Prague striker was shown a red card in Ghana’s second game against Gabon and has been handed a three-game ban by CAF.
